First Impressions | Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter

Recently, while shopping with my mother (where I may have bought a few things) I came across the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter in the scent Lime Coolada. I have heard many beauty gurus/bloggers rave about Hawaiian Tropic but untill now have never owned anything from thier range.

I saw this and the first thing that dragged me straight over to the shelf was the colour of the packaging. It just looks perfect for Summer! However, one thing I don't like is that the product itself is over-packaged.

N.B. This Product is marketed as an After Sun but can be used all year round.

The product itself is amazing and just fantastic. It is enriched with Cocoa, shea, mango and avocado oil. The consistinsy is just right. It is thick but light at the same time, which I like. It applies smoothly and a little goes a long way. The body butter is actually ever so slightly green and this helps to calm redness. It works as an every morning mouisturiser I am not sure about an After Sun as here in not-so-sunny Scotland it has been rain, rain, rain. I will find out when I go on holiday. THE SMELL: Amazing. It is a citrius blast and smells like the tropics, it has a lemony-limey zest to it with a hint of coconut. The smell lasts and I love that about it. It will lingure all day and you don't need a fragrence on top of it.

Overall I love the product and it will definatley be a big Summer 2013 musthave and at £13 it is a steal.
